Karma karma karma karma karma chameleon

I know that many of you have already seen the new additions to our home, but we are still excited about them. First and most important we got another chameleon and this one already seems to be doing better than our long lost Eddie. Teancum named him Plato because he has a serious and critical look on his face. I woke up early Friday morning to watch him eat. His tongue is at least 5 inches long and he grabs crickets off the side of the cage while he's on the vine in the middle. It's pretty neat. He's just over a month old.

We bought it from a guy in Brigham City and he had about five little ones and one big one out on a tree in his living room when we came over. While we were there one of the little ones started to climb on the big one's back and the big one started to hiss and bite and go crazy so the guy runs over and tries to get the big one to calm down while his wife grabs the little one. It was really funny though because the wife was also holding a snake and all of the sudden the snake was really interested and was trying to eat the baby chameleon. Anyway, you probably had to be there, but it was crazy.

Where's Plato??

Secondly we got a dresser and bookcase thing from our friends that moved to Washington D.C. They were spray painted white when we got them so we decided to paint them and they turned out pretty nice.

We also got a washer and dryer which is not nearly as interesting, but has been really convenient.

Teancum started school on Monday and I just kept working, which was a really weird thing. I didn't think it would be a very big adjustment to be done with school, but it kind of is. I will have to find more things to keep me busy because I'm not used to this being done at three always thing, but it should be a good break anyway.

That Plato guy WAS serious and critical! Great name. And I love that you woke up early just to watch him eat. I think you should use your extra time to become the world's greatest banjo player.
