The Happening...s .....lately

First of all I'd like to point out that I have a cool hubby. Just for no reason, or maybe because I kept talking about how pretty my vase would look with flowers in it, Teancum got me these perdy flowers. :)

This was what it was like outside last week. I'm sad that all good things outdoors are coming to an end, and I have to just accept that snow exists here too and is on its way soon. I've heard its already snowed at least once in Logan. Ha ha.

I went to this park with Teancum on Halloween. It's called High Bridge park and it does in fact have a lot of high bridges.

This tall bridge in the front is for trains. It's seriously fun to watch when there are trains on it, which is bad for when I'm driving because you can see it from the freeway.

Later on, T and I went to the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture because what could be scarier than a bunch of old artifacts and mannequins dressed in Indian clothing? It was actually kinda lame, but we got there after all the tours of cool old buildings had ended. So maybe I'll have to give it another try. We'll see.

Halloween night consisted of carmel apples with sloppy chocolate drizzles (I've never made them before) and The Shining, followed by the Simpsons version of The Shining. I forgot how great that episode is!

Awesome commentary as usual Karen. You are gifted with photography and words.

Hey! Our blog failed to update your posts yet again! I like the (possibly) new setup. Sounds like you had a really fun Halloween. And those flowers sure are perdy!

p.s. This is Rachel, not Dan. I'm too lazy to sign him out and me in.
