... happened this week. First of all, my local grocery store began stocking Grandma Sycamore's bread and they sell it for $1.88. This was great news because just two days before I found the bread, I had decided I was done eating bread. I couldn't find a single loaf of bread anywhere that I really liked. For some reason all the bread here is the same texture as wonder bread- super thin, floppy, and dry. Anyway... hooray! We bought four loaves immediately and have already eaten 1 1/2. The other greatest thing that happened this week was my birthday! I had a very fun day. Teancum got work off, I skipped my class, we went to lunch and then played outside all day.
Here are some pictures from this park where we went that had tons and tons of flowers and the coolest greenhouse ever.
Tallest jade tree ever (not really).
This cactus looked like a bunch of sea cucumbers.
The yellow flowers are called Mountain of Gold.
Can't wait to have a house (yes, I can) so I can plant some!

Well, Dad and I and Rachel and James just planted many beautiful plant in our backyard. We have barely gotten started, but I am beginning to have hope that we can transform it this year. Your pictures are beautiful. Looks like you had a fun day.
It's true! You are going to be very impressed when you see their backyard. It will make you want your own backyard...
p.s. Awesome flower photos, Paul Jr. :)
Remember the old days when Grandma Sycamore bread was made rght there by the rodeo grounds in P.G.?And now it has spread to Spokane-leavening the whole world as it were-one 1 of two greatest things. That is a good thing! However, you cannot live by bread only-remember your vegetables and fresh fruits and keep up those outdoor recreational activities-looks like you had all the elements of a great birthday.
