The Center for the School of the Future on the Moon

Hey everybody.... so we really slacked off on updating our blog while we were in Thailand. After leaving Chiang Mai the internet A) cost money and B) cost twice as much money (at least) as it did in Chiang Mai. Anyway, after lots of not knowing what to do we finally decided to move back to Logan and have kids. HAHA just kidding, that's Rachel. So, we found a really freakin amazing apartment the day after we began searching. It has a pool and a butler and many maids to answer our every beck and call. Teancum told me to write that. But in all seriousness, it is really nice. It has two bedrooms and is about 12 times larger than our last studio/cardboard box. And we both have jobs now!! I started last week at the Center for the School of the Future, I added the part about the moon because it seems to fit the actual title. It's a research center that does studies and collects data on how to improve public schools. I also will be taking that research and teaching educators all about what we find. So far it has been really fun. This week I am at a three day training/retreat thing. We get to stay at Sherwood Hills Resort which is a fancy pants hotel in the middle of Sardine Canyon (on the way to Logan). They have a super cool hot tub with a big waterfall going into it. Anyway, Teancum got a job at the USU bookstore and he starts tomorrow. So, life is good and it is finally warm now, but I still miss Thailand.
