Get out of jail free card

Well, my days of teaching at the jail have finally come to an end. I am a little sad that today was probably the best class I've had all summer. The super creepy guy wasn't there, the female class actually had four people in it and they weren't falling asleep, the deputy once again decided to rearrange how we should have our class set up and returned it to the original set up that I enjoyed. Good times. I may just actually miss it, but probably not for a while :)

On another note I have decided just now that I'm going to start keeping a daily tally of how many times someone tells me "You talk too much" in a sarcastic manner. Given that my job at the Center for the School of the Future (seriously too long of a title to be practical) involves lots and lots of me sitting in meetings in which I understand very little of what is being said, I take no offense at these comments. Merely laugh and pretend I've never heard that before. The whole thing seems so counter producitve. The more I hear that the less I feel like adding anything. The count for today is only two. That's probably the average, which doesn't sound too bad, but it got old after about the first time I heard it. Oh well.

I'm glad you were just visiting....
I never heard about the creepy guy. Although that name brings a not very pleasant person to mind. So I am glad he wasn't there.
I am proud of you Karen.

Well, I wouldn't know if you talk to much or not. I'll just take everyone's word for it! But, I love you anyway! And if you want to know the truth.... I think that means we would get along great!
