Today I went to Salt Lake and was able to have lunch with Senator Bennett. It was a kick off meeting for the project I am working on for my job. Fun times! He talked about how education is the most important issue in every circumstance for our nation. He also said the agricultural age gave way to the industrial age and what a huge change that was, but now industrialism is giving way to the information age. A big part of this project is to get teachers to be able to use current data systems to be able to intervene earlier with problem students and teachers need to be able to keep up with all of the changes. I didn't know it before, but I think I love education and want to continue to work in this field in the future.
