Oh buoy I love camping!

Last weekend Teancum and I went camping at a place called Porcupine Bay. It's by the Spokane river, but close to the Grand Coulee Dam so the river was really wide and slow.

It seems like a popular boating place, but it was pretty empty when we got there and it was a relaxing trip. I was watching this bird for a while because it kept rocking back and forth on the buoy and was very persistent about staying on. It was like watching that crazy Japanese TV show where people have to run across wobbly toadstools really fast or else fall into the water.

Pretty walk along the shore.

This was where we camped.

While I was taking this picture I saw a huge bald eagle swoop down and land on one of the trees and it was amazing, but I couldn't get a picture of it. So you get Canadian geese instead.
